The challenge
Due to their current version becoming unsupported, potentially increasing their costs to continue maintaining the MS2 system, our client took the decision to upgrade to the latest version of Unit4 ERP. However, there was a tight timeframe in which to deliver the upgrade to avoid any loss of support.
Following a recommendation from their Unit4 account manager, the client approached Embridge Consulting to support and deliver this upgrade.
The solution
The project was a like-for-like upgrade and moved our client to a Cloud-hosted environment. Weekly project management calls with Embridge’s Application Managed Services (AMS) Team kept the upgrade on track and resolved any issues before they became a problem – ensuring a smooth transition to the latest version.
Following our initial conversations with Embridge Consulting, they were quick to respond and had a very good knowledge of U4BW and were able to provide us with a cloud hosting solution that provided both flexibility and the right price.

The result
The project team successfully delivered the upgrade in under two and a half months, despite some unforeseen business challenges for the client.
