Unit4 Finance Lead Consultant

Working with the client through all stages of the finance/ERP implementation

We are looking for a knowledgeable and expert Finance Consultant, with a background in Unit4 ERP software consultancy, to join our team.

Our Unit4 Finance Lead Consultant will:

• Work with clients through all stages of the Unit4 Finance implementation: leading system design workshops, build consultancy, application consultancy and training, providing advice and guidance on best practice configured solutions and business process, ensuring the client achieves the optimum solution to meet their business objectives.
• Ensure solutions are kept within the agreed scope of the project.
• Lead and participate in client workshops when needed in relation to their system design.  Analyse requirements and proposed business processes, translating these into a documented Solution Design, using Embridge standards.
• Configure the Unit4 ERP solution in line with documented and approved design specification, alignment workbooks, build plans and other supporting documentation. 
• Lead implementations providing business sector and application design expertise, working in collaboration with other workstream consultants as required.
• Assist the pre-sales process where required with new business proposals, demonstrations and client meetings.
• Keep up to date with technology, especially in relation to Embridge products and facilitate sharing of the latest product news and direction within the team.
• Promote best practice within Embridge Consulting by assisting colleagues to provide best in class solutions to clients, through advice and guidance, and best practice templates and standards.

Your knowledge, reliability, and expert support during the consultancy lifecycle will be essential to helping our clients achieve their strategic ambitions and bring positive change to digital landscapes within organisations.

Here are some of the skills our Unit4 Finance Lead Consultants must bring:

• Ability to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships
• Able to work to deadlines and tight timescales
• Demonstrable experience of implementing Unit4 finance software solutions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent presentation skills – able to deliver to all levels including but not limited to the most senior stakeholders within an organisation / C-level audience
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work under own initiative as well as part of a team, versatile and flexible with a can-do attitude with a willingness to take on new tasks as required
• Demonstrable appetite to excel, setting an example to the wider delivery team including other Implementation Consultants, Build Consultants, and clients to deliver high quality outcomes
• Good commercial awareness
• Able to travel across the UK as needed, working remotely when required, with occasional overnight stays

Desirable skills

• Knowledge and experience implementing Unit4 in Private and Public Sectors
• CMA, CFA, CFP, or similar finance qualifications
• Experience working as part of a multi-disciplined project delivery team
• Understanding of implementation methodologies (Prince2, PMI)
