The Project Management role at Embridge Consulting involves delivering projects for our clients and managing day-to-day operational aspects of people and scope. Attention to detail is a key skill needed to perform and exceed within this role as is ensuring that the Embridge Project Methodology are used for all live projects throughout the project cycle. The Project Manager will need to show initiative and be able to act decisively when needed.
A core function of this role is to minimise exposure and risk on the project and be able to communicate the status of the projects to all stakeholders while ensuring that the projects are delivered successfully on time and within budget. Our Project Manager needs to be able to track and report project deliverables associated with the implementation of the project, in line with internal policies and procedures. This is an opportunity to contribute to the definition of best practice project management procedures and the templates to support them. A target-driven mindset will be key to being successful within this role as targets will need to be completed in line with the company’s business plan.
It is essential that the Project Manager is technically aware and keeps up to date with the latest products and services Embridge provides whilst being tactful in introducing potential benefits that could be delivered to our clients as a result. The Project Manager will need to be self-sufficient and resourceful by seeking and taking advantage of opportunities to inform our clients of Embridge Consulting services, where there is a clear need or benefit that can be demonstrated. They will also need to be able to support commercial teams in the delivery of tender responses and proposals.
As part of a customer-orientated business, it’s important that the post holder aims to consistently drive customer satisfaction.
In addition, the post holder will be expected to undertake any other related, ad hoc tasks as required by business demands and management requests.
An understanding of Prince2 methodology (or similar), supplier-side project management, ISO9001 QMS systems and quality management processes and ITIL methodologies would be an advantage.
