Autotrader extends contract with Embridge Consulting to enable continuous transformation

The UK’s largest online automotive marketplace, Autotrader, has extended its contract with technology-enabled business transformation specialists, Embridge Consulting, to leverage its Business Technology as a Service (BTaaS) - marking a significant strategic shift towards an enterprise-wide integration and transformation model that will evolve with its business needs.
Having worked with Embridge Consulting for almost four years, Autotrader initially engaged the consultancy as a Managed Services partner to maximise the value of its Unit4 ERP platform. Over time, the relationship has evolved into a trusted, long-term partnership, with Autotrader becoming an early adopter of LEO - the consultancy’s own fully managed integration service, designed to remove the burden of integration ownership while improving reliability, resilience and speed at which change can be delivered. LEO enables seamless communication between cloud and on-premise applications, providing a more stable and scalable integration foundation as Autotrader’s platform landscape continues to evolve.
Having now committed to a new three-year agreement under BTaaS – the consultancy’s flexible, subscription-based framework under which Autotrader will consume LEO, managed services, advisory support and future capabilities – the automotive marketplace will benefit from reduced operational risk, improved integration maturity, faster delivery of change and a more resilient, modernised platform landscape.
By outsourcing integration and platform complexity, Autotrader will also be better positioned to improve agility, lower technical overhead and make more effective use of its internal technical capability.
