From the 1st-26th March, we proudly participated in the “26 Miles in 26 Days” challenge to support Young Epilepsy, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people with epilepsy.
This initiative involved team members, along with their families and friends, committing to walking, running, or biking 26 miles between 1st March and Purple Day on 26th March. The challenge not only raised vital funds but also fostered a sense of community and purpose among the team and everyone who took part. Julie a dedicated team member, shared her experience:
“I try to walk every day; some days it’s not so easy when it’s cold or wet. However, walking for Young Epilepsy has given me a purpose to make the effort and get out every day. It’s amazing to feel a part of a team, to raise awareness and to ‘Give Back,’ and a big plus is it’s improved my fitness!”

Our collective efforts of Team Embridge resulted in an incredible achievement; we clocked up a combined total of over 278 miles! More importantly, everyone’s dedication helped raise an impressive £332.25 for Young Epilepsy.
I’m delighted at the way Team Embridge embraced this voluntary challenge during March, not only helping to raise money for a cause that’s important to my family and me but also raising awareness of the work the charity does. It was great to see people getting involved in ways that worked for them and the photos and chats it led to internally.
