Award-winning technology-enabled business transformation consultancy, Embridge Consulting, has been appointed by the University of Liverpool to support the delivery of its Finance System Transformation Programme.
This programme has been set up to enable the University to upgrade its finance system to Unit4 ERPx, Unit4’s flagship cloud-based ERP solution and a market-leading platform for UK Higher Education.
With an emotionally intelligent ‘elastic’ approach to change - designed to help business transformation adapt, stick and scale - Embridge boasts a proven track record of success in delivering complex transformation for hundreds of organisations across the public sector, NHS and healthcare, higher education, not-for-profit and professional services.
Under ‘Elastic Change’ the forward-thinking consultancy combines its three Es: Excellence in Technology, Expandable Services and Emotionally Intelligent Leadership to keep change moving in people-led environments where priorities, policies and pressures shift.
Successful in the tendering process, Embridge will now work closely with the University to deliver its Finance System Transformation Programme, supporting its move to Unit4 ERPx – a next-generation cloud ERP solution.
On completion, the University of Liverpool will become the first Russell Group Institution to operate on Unit4 ERPx.
The Embridge team and I are excited to be appointed by the University of Liverpool to help deliver its complex Finance System Transformation Programme.
It is set to be the first Russell Group university to implement Unit4 ERPx, meaning staff and students alike will be able to take advantage of emerging digital technologies, improved user experience, and increased automation.
Emma O'Brien Chief Executive Officer, Embridge Consulting
The University of Liverpool is one of the highest-ranked universities in Europe and together with Embridge Consulting, we are pleased to support this part of the University’s transformation journey.
James Arvin Senior Director, Public Sector UKI, Unit4
Through the Finance System Transformation Programme we want to upgrade our finance system and secure the technical and infrastructure benefits associated with moving to the cloud alongside introducing more streamlined and standardised end-to-end finance processes.
While we are staying with Unit4, moving to the cloud is still a major and highly complex transformational change, impacting all aspects of University operations. We commissioned Embridge to be our systems integrations partner for the duration of the programme based on their track record of successfully delivering complex change initiatives plus their knowledge of Unit4 ERPx.
We are looking forward to working with Embridge over the coming months to design a finance system that will serve our needs, now and in the future.
