London, November 15, 2022 – Embridge Consulting, a leading boutique digital transformation consultancy, specialising in Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Change, today announced that it has been selected by North Warwickshire Borough Council to replace its legacy system with Unit4 ERP and support the finance team to deliver more efficient day-to-day operations.
Like most other local government organisations, North Warwickshire is under intense pressure to find cost savings and improve efficiencies across its operations, while improving financial management capabilities. Unit4 ERP will empower users with new, user-friendly self-service options and faster, more accurate reporting capabilities. This will help staff to work smarter, as well as providing extra functionality and new skills as the Council looks to modernise its operations.
Alongside the technology itself, the finance team will be working with experts from Embridge to implement best practice and process automation. This will help them overcome existing challenges, for example around very complex and manual budgeting and reporting processes. Reducing effort in these areas means the finance team can then better support individual budget holders around the organisation and be more proactive with other tasks such as supplier management, procurement, debtors and compliance.
“As an organisation, we know that we need to modernise and find smarter ways of working. We’ve selected Unit4 ERP because it will help us streamline our processes, as well as reduce the amount of time and manual effort it takes to execute lots of recurring tasks. Having Embridge on-board means we can learn from their extensive public sector experience, really think about our ways of working and ensure we’re delivering value to our citizens.”
Evan Ross, IT Project Officer at North Warwickshire Borough Council
“We’re very much looking forward to working with North Warwickshire to support their efficiency goals and modernisation agenda, as well as improving day-to-day experiences for their users,” said Mark Harris, Business Development Director at Embridge Consulting “The team’s willingness to challenge the status quo and embrace new ways of working is very refreshing and provides a great platform for success and continual improvement. We can’t wait to get started!”
“We are delighted to be working with Embridge Consulting to support North Warwickshire Borough Council,” said Chris Richards, Regional President, UK & Ireland at Unit4. “Our solution will help boost productivity, enable the Council to effectively plan for the future and free up resources to focus on more of what matters most: helping citizens and communities thrive.”
