Unit4 Principal HR Consultant

Employment Type Full-time
Location Remote with travel to office and customer sites as required

Embridge Consulting continues to expand its HR capacity in the Professional Services Team and is looking for a Unit4 Principal HR Consultant. The successful applicant will work with customers through all stages of the HR implementation. This will include leading system design workshops, providing application consultancy, providing advice and guidance on business process, and assisting the customer to achieve the optimum solution to meet their business objectives.

The Principal HR Consultant will be expected to take the lead role in HR implementations for Embridge customers, providing business sector and application design expertise, and overseeing and coordinating the work of workstream consultants and build consultants as required. This will involve working directly with customers, for example in system design workshops.

As part of this role, the post holder will need to make recommendations relating to business process changes needed to enable the successful implementation of the Unit4 product set. The post holder will also ensure that solutions are kept within the agreed scope of the project, raising possible scope creep to the nominated Project Manager. They will manage client expectations around the proposed solution, documenting any issues, conflicts, and key decisions for full audit traceability.

There may also be a requirement to assist with the pre-sales process, when required, supporting the development of new business proposals, delivery of demonstrations, and client meetings.

The Principal HR Consultant will lead, support, and act as a mentor to members of the team, identifying any development needs (technical and professional), facilitating knowledge/skills enhancement and continuous personal growth. They will act as an SME for the HR workstream across the wider business, providing support and guidance to all departments as needed.

To facilitate successful execution of this role, the post holder will need to stay up-to-date with HR Industry and product knowledge, keeping the broader business updated with significant changes. They will promote best practice within Embridge by assisting all colleagues to provide best in class solutions to customers, through advice and guidance, and best practice templates and standards.
