London, July 29, 2022 – Embridge Consulting, a leading boutique digital transformation consultancy, specialising in Enterprise Resource Planning and Business Change, today announced that it has been selected by Norwich City Council to deliver Unit4’s next-generation ERP software.
Norwich City Council is looking to modernise its finance and HR functions by employing best practice and empowering its teams with self-service options, as well as enabling faster and more effective reporting. This project will be the first major Software as a Service (SaaS) deployment across the Council’s back-office systems, providing a single view of their information, together with a unified process framework across both finance and HR.
Working with Unit4, Embridge Consulting will not only deliver the new ERP system but, alongside it, will implement standard business processes and reporting. This will help the Council to overcome previous challenges, particularly around month and year-end reporting, as well as improve HR processes. The implementation, which is based on the Public Sector industry model, will ensure the Council gets the best value out of their tools as quickly as possible. It will also provide a solution that will transform how its people work, so that they spend more time focusing on the work that matters – the citizens they serve.
Our duty is to serve the people of Norwich and to ensure our residents are at the heart of everything we do. A key aspect of this is to make sure we have the right IT solutions in place, whether they’re resident-facing or back-office systems.
We’re very much looking forward to working with Embridge Consulting to guide us through the successful implementation of Unit4 ERP so that our new finance and HR systems are efficient, fit-for-purpose and can contribute to the ongoing success of the city council.
Annabel Scholes, Norwich City Council’s Executive Director of Corporate and Commercial Services
Mark Harris, Business Development Director, Embridge Consulting said: “We are looking forward to collaborating with the team at Norwich as we implement a world class cloud-based ERP solution. This will provide many opportunities for efficiency across the Finance and HR functions, enhancing the experience for employees across the Council.”
“We are delighted to be partnering with Embridge Consulting on this project. Norwich City Council has a clear digital vision to use cloud-based solutions wherever it can, in order to provide the best possible service and experience to its citizens. This project will enable their finance and HR functions to embrace cloud in a single platform whilst improving operational efficiency, and we’re excited to be part of it.” added Chris Richards, Regional President, UKI, Unit4.
