As 2018 draws to a close, the conversations around the GLAD team start to become reflective. The team are discussing what we have achieved this year. At the start of 2018, we released some additions to our of ‘Off the Shelf’ library, including the one thing that we were all so concerned about but seem to have forgotten now… GDPR (Brexit talk has completely taken over). We also increased the number of software simulation courses for Unit4 users. (Look out for more news on this subject next year).
We opened our doors in May and welcomed the local business community to come and see our work. Over the course of the year, we have welcomed a number of new clients to our list including one that gave us an extremely tight deadline to produce six courses and an assessment that would boil the brains of Mensa… (our chief quiz maker is now sitting quietly in darkened corner of the office).
We reflected on the growing number of repeat clients that either updated or added new courses to their learning bank. And not forgetting that we have invested and enhanced the capabilities of our own Cognito 365 platform. This year the team has grown, shrunk and grown again and we now have our sights firmly set on 2019 and the targets and goals that we have set ourselves.
While we finish the last of the mince pies and mulled wine, we would like to thank all our clients old and new and wish you all a Happy New Year… here’s looking forward to 2019.
As a bit of fun to finish off the year, take a look at a short sample of one of our off the shelf offerings and see how many times you can spot the elf.
