Learn how to enhance your existing Unit4 ERP workflow skills by gaining a deeper understanding of the extensive workflow automation and its capabilities to improve your internal automation processing.

Summary

Aimed at an audience with existing Unit4 ERP Workflow knowledge, this one-day course will extend any existing skills in process automation with the aim to promote an easier end-user experience.

Learning outcomes

This course is designed for users who are proficient in Unit4 ERP workflow with a good understanding and working knowledge of workflow cornerstones therefore it would be an advantage to have attended the previous Workflow introduction course as we will build on the concepts outlined there.

Review and Recap of Workflow Basics

In this session we will have a quick refresher on the Unit4 ERP Workflow fundamentals.


Session 2

Master File Workflow

In this session you will gain an understanding of the master file setup and how this can be applied to workflows in the Unit4 ERP.

The areas it will explain are:

  • Master file workflow overview
  • Setup of draft project approval

Session 3

Multi-Level Approvals

In this session you will understand multi-level approvals in workflows.

Using the following you will understand the pros and cons of both methods and how to apply them:

  • Distribution Rules
  • OR-Splits

Session 4

Deadlines, Reminders, Escalations and Email alerts​

In this session your will understand the differences between reminders and escalations and apply reminders, escalations and email alerts to your workflow:

The areas it will explain are:

  • Setup reminders for overdue tasks
  • Escalate tasks to supervisors
  • Setup email alerts for reminders and escalations
